Biography
•Dr.A.Ramu. received his Bachelor degree in physics through Vivekanantha College,Thiruvedagam (west) (Kamaraj University,Madurai). He graduated with a Master of Physics and M.Phil (Physics) from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. He has been awarded Ph.D in the field of Spectroscopic and Molecular studies based on DFT at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India. He has been in the teaching profession for more than 14 years. He has presented a number of papers in national and International Journals, Conference and Symposiums and has published two books.
Vibrational spectroscopy is an important tool for the elucidation of molecular structure. It also provides important information about intermolecular force acting between the atoms in a molecule and intermolecular forces in a condensed phase. Our research work concentrate in, FT-IR, FT-Raman spectroscopes had used and their spectrum is analyzed. The potential energy distribution (PED) calculation of vibration is made by VEDA software. The another parameters molecular bond length, bond angle, Mulliken charge analysis, Non linear optical analysis(NLO), HOMO-LUMO study and Natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis are calculated by DFT method using Gaussian 09 software.
