Students Service Centre

Ganesar College of Arts and Science, Melasivapuri established a Students Services Centre (SSC) on July 2023, in accordance with UGC draft regulations D.O.No.F.1-19/2021 (CPP-II) dated 12^th April 2023. The SSC is in charge of handling and managing issues related to stress and emotional adjustment. To guarantee that every student has fair access to high-quality mental health services, physical fitness, and sports. Through it, knowledgeable experts and counsellors for both mental and physical health support students, giving them the confidence to pursue their professional aspirations.

Functions:

Encourage an atmosphere that supports the physical and mental health of students.
Encourage a fair and inclusive living and learning environment for college students.
Work together with other organisations like the NSS, the college student welfare committees, and the OBC/SC/ST cell.
Will make an effort to facilitate and offer support services for the population of divergent learners, as well as to deliver the appropriate information at the appropriate time.

Provide vulnerable and underprivileged students with online and offline counselling, and keep records of the same.
Uphold students' right to privacy regarding any information pertaining to their physical and mental health.
Plan inspirational talks and workshops for faculty and students about physical and mental well-being.
